Our Story

Caledonian Tours is proudly based in Edinburgh and was founded through a deep connection to Scotland. Shaped by movement, exploration, and a passion to showing others our beautiful Scottish scenery. Growing up across different towns and regions of the country offered an early appreciation of its landscapes, cultures, and hidden corners, not just the well known highlights, but the places that give Scotland its true character.

Alongside this local upbringing came extensive travel abroad, experiencing tourism from the perspective of a guest in many different countries. Seeing how travel is delivered elsewhere, what feels welcoming, effortless, and memorable, provided a valuable understanding of what truly elevates a journey beyond simply getting from one place to another.

This unique blend of local knowledge, transportation expertise, and first-hand experience as both resident and traveller became the foundation of Caledonian Tours. It shaped an approach focused on thoughtful planning, flexibility, and allowing guests to experience Scotland in a way that feels natural, unhurried, and personal.
